Café (Center for Advancing Faith Engagement)

What is Café? Simply stated Café is the Center for Advancing Faith Engagement. The idea for Café came out of the 2009 Vestry Retreat. The dream of the Rector and Vestry is to have a Center that utilizes our 52 acre campus to -

• Provide a Safe Place for people to deal with the daily practical aspects of Christian living - such as marriage, attending to our aging parents, and raising our children;
• Foster Growth in the Congregation - such as learning the Benedictine way of organizing our days, walking the Labyrinth, and fully reflecting on our life;
• Challenge the Fellowship by providing a safe place to engage social and relationship questions that can sometimes polarize American Christians. The Café will provide an atmosphere of respect for civil discourse about tough issues.
