Sunday Services
8:00 a.m. Holy Eucharist Rite II - Chapel: Greet the morning with music and prayer as we celebrate Holy Eucharist, Rite II. Gather in the Chapel (a replica of Mission Espada in San Antonio) for worship with a small ensemble, a thoughtful sermon, and a warm and welcoming fellowship. This worship service lasts about one hour and is followed by coffee and doughnuts near the fountain in our beautiful Main Courtyard.
9:00 a.m. NOVA - Church: Gather in the main Church (a building inspired by Espiritu Santo in Goliad) with multiple generations and a plugged-in band for experiential, participatory worship with interactive teaching and Holy Eucharist (a.k.a. communion). Short series of teaching themes connect Scripture and worship to daily life. NOVA lasts one hour. This service is followed by discussion and time to relax nearby in our new Family Courtyard, or in McArthur Hall or, depending on the weather.
9:15 a.m. Adult Christian Education: (No Classes during the summer months - watch for details)
10:30 a.m. Holy Eucharist Rite II - Church: At this largest service of the morning, gather in the main church with lively preaching, full choir, blended music accompanied by a concert grand piano, and the same open spirit of welcome present in the first two services. This service lasts about an hour and fifteen minutes, and it is followed by refreshments at Coffee Hour in McArthur Hall.
Children and babies are most welcome at all our services, and our professionally staffed Nursery is also available at all Sunday services and at the Wednesday "Halftime" service for children up to age four.
