Monday
10:00 a.m. Morning Prayer with Holy Eucharist Rite I - Chapel: Start your week right with this traditional service of Morning Prayer, Rite I (modified Elizabethan language) followed by Holy Communion. The church staff gathers with others in the Oratory, a small side chapel within the Chapel. A Layreader leads Morning Prayer and then our Rector or Assistant Rector presides at communion with the congregation gathered around the altar. This service lasts about 45 minutes.
Tuesday
7:00 a.m. Men's Morning Prayer Group - Chapel
6:00 p.m. Evening Prayer Rite II - Chapel: This contemporary-language service of Bible readings and prayer takes place in the Oratory, a small side chapel within the Chapel. A Layreader leads the service. This service lasts about 20 minutes.
Wednesday
8:10 a.m. Saint Stephen's School Chapel - Chapel: (during the school year only) Morning prayer with Holy Eucharist
10:00 a.m. Morning Prayer, Healing and Holy Eucharist Rite II - Chapel: This service begins in the Oratory, a small side chapel within the Chapel. A Layreader leads Morning Prayer and then our Rector or Assistant Rector, or Director of Lay Ministry gathers with the congregation at the altar rail for the laying on of hands and anointing for healing (making the sign of the cross on the participant's forehead with blessed oil, if desired). A clergy member then presides at communion with the congregation gathered around the altar. This service lasts about an hour.
6:30 p.m. Halftime Contemporary Holy Eucharist - Chapel: Bishop Earl McArthur presides and the Halftime Band plays at this contemporary Eucharist in the Chapel. Short teachings are led by a team of five persons with advanced theological degrees in the areas of Sacramental/Johannine Theology, Moral/Psychological Theology, Mystical/Spiritual Theology, Historical/Textual Theology, Missional Theology, and Evangelical Theology. This service lasts about 40 minutes and is followed by an optional group discussion.
Thursday
6:00 p.m. Evening Prayer with Holy Eucharist Rite II - Chapel: This service of Evening Prayer, contemporary language, is followed by Holy Communion. The congregation gathers in the Oratory, a small side chapel within the Chapel. A Layreader leads Morning Prayer and then the Rev. James Sigler presides at communion with the congregation gathered around the altar. This service lasts about 40 minutes.
Friday
10:00 a.m. Morning Prayer Rite I - Chapel: This modified Elizabethan-language service of Bible readings and prayer takes place in the Oratory, a small side chapel within the Chapel. A Layreader leads the service. This service lasts about 20 minutes.
**The chapel is open from 8:30 a.m.- 4:00 p.m., Monday - Friday, for prayer, meditation and devotion.
