Get Connected - 1000 Smiles Medical Mission

Four times a year Saint Stephen's Medical Mission team travels to Ensenada, Mexico to work with the Thousand Smiles Foundation. Clinics are held the first Fridays of February, May, August and November. We travel on Thursday, work on Friday and Saturday and fly home on Sunday.

Each mission trip involves caring for children with oral-maxillofacial deformities such as cleft palate or cleft lip. We provide routine dental services to many needy local children and provide surgical services to as many as 20 patients per Clinic. Our team includes nurses, surgical technicians and "civilians."
