Get Connected - Altar Guild

The Altar Guild is responsible for setting up the Altar for the Holy Eucharist and for keeping the altar and sacristy in neat and clean order. We are also responsible for caring for the linens and vessels used for communion.

Skills Needed: Dedication and willingness to learn the procedures – and faithfulness.
Commitment: Three hours a month approximately as a member of one of the Altar Guild teams.
Training Required: On job, working with someone who has experience.
Financial Commitment: None.
How Many People Involved Now: About 35 people are involved now in this ministry. We presently have four regular teams (one for each week in a month), one team for 5th Sundays and one Chapel team for Saint Stephen’s School weekly celebration of the Eucharist.
Need for More People: Yes, we especially need more people for our weekly Chapel services.
