Get Connected - Saint Stephen's Cares for Kids

This ministry serves our community by:

• Providing limited funds for medical, psychological, and dental care for under or uninsured children
• Providing funds for medicine for children who are ill and have no insurance
• Offering volunteer support for a Health Fair for Wimberley students
• Providing trained mentors and donating clothing and school supplies for children in need
• Participating in Back-to-School Fiesta: a yearly event held before school starts in the fall geared towards helping area school children in need by offering reduced cost immunizations, free school supplies, dental and vision screenings and free hair cuts on the day of the fiesta.

Commitment: The time commitment will vary according to the project or event.
Training Required: Volunteers will be trained as needed.
Financial Commitment None. Just your time. There will be fundraisers to assist with the financial aspects of this program.
How Many People Involved Now: About 6 but there will be many more volunteer opportunities as time goes on.
Need for More People: Yes, many.
