Get Connected - Earth Angels

We are individuals and families from Saint Stephen's and the community committed to the restoration and preservation of creation. We want to make our church a "Creation Awareness Center," committed to thoughtful care of our rich resources, in the form of these ministries:

Bird Feeders

We maintain the bird population and the balance of ecology, which in turn makes the nature trail more beautiful. The skill required is dependability. Volunteers fill and repair feeders, spending 2-4 hours/week plus travel time.

Coat Recycle

This is an outreach program to provide warm clothing to adults and children in need. Time spent in advertising for donations, sorting, storing and delivering to appropriate agencies for distribution.

Skills Required: No particular skill required, just a desire to help.
Need for More People: Yes, three to five serve at present.

Adopt a Highway

We clean two sections of highway (about five miles).

Commitment: We spend about three hours, six times a year.
Training Required: No training or skill (except willingness to get dirty!).
Financial Commitment: None.
How Many People Involved Now: About 60 people involved now.
Need for More People: Always can use more.
