Get Connected - Greeters

The Greeters are members of Saint Stephen's who welcome and invite the congregation and especially visitors into full participation in the life of Saint Stephen's on Sunday mornings. Greeters introduce themselves and others by offering nametags, introducing visitors to the members and the facilities of Saint Stephen's and accompanying visitors to coffee hour. They also gently encourage visitors to complete an information card so they can be contacted and shepherded further and begin the process of discovering how Saint Stephen's can help meet their needs.

Skills Needed:

• The gift of hospitality.
• A genuine interest in people.
• A warm smile.
• Willingness to answer questions and seek answers.
• Reliability

Commitment:

• Two and one half hours (10:00 AM through coffee hour) one Sunday morning a month.
• One two-hour group training/refresher is offered yearly. Individual training is offered upon request.

Need for More People: This ministry is open to everyone who would like to participate.
