Children's Sunday School - Godly Play
3 yrs old - 1st Grade

Children are invited to our special space to meet, worship and learn about God. The Log Cabin is divided into two groups based on age where each group hears and wonders about the beautiful lessons that are presented. Each Sunday children will explore a different topic geared toward their age and knowledge. The atmosphere and teachers are carefully prepared in order to make the children's experience with God special. Children may be dropped off between 9:00-9:15 a.m. Class ends at 10:15, please make arrangements to pick up the children. Please bring your children to this very meaningful experience. Saint Stephen's is proud to have one of the best Godly Play Centers in the Diocese.
Classes and Teachers:
  • 3 and 4 yr olds: Lisa Enloe and Shannon Britton

Children's Sunday School - Workshop Rotation
2nd Graders - High School

Get excited! What an opportunity our children have to learn about God, Jesus and the Bible. Each month children and teens study a different subject. This fall semester children will study famous names of the Old Testament starting with Ruth then Samuel, David and then Elijah. Classes are formed based on grade and each group has two Shepherds. All groups meet for a "Gathering time" in McArthur Hall at 9:15am where they will hear a Bible story, discuss its major points and make offerings to a special mission project. At 9:40am the groups will split and the children and teens will study the week's topic with their Shepherds and a separate teacher. Teachers will elaborate on the topic through: art, music, computers, science, cooking, theatre or storytelling. Each separate topic is tailored to the knowledge and age of the group.
