Scouts
Boy Scouts of America's goal is to prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath to do their personal duty to God and country.
Skills Needed: Good character and the ability to relate to young people
Commitment: Task-related. It may take two hours for a special project or a regular 2-to-3 hours per week.
Training Required: Persons working directly with Scouts are required to take the Youth Protection Training.
Financial Commitment: Scout leaders purchase their own uniforms.
