COVID-19 REOPENING GUIDELINES

The Episcopal Diocese of West Texas has issued updated COVID-19 guidelines. Our St. Stephen's Task Force and Vestry have subsequently formulated the below St. Stephen's COVID-19 guidelines:

NO TEMPERATURE CHECKS

Temperature checks are no longer required for any activity, meeting, or worship service on campus, whether indoors or outdoors.

NAME TAGS

Name tags at worship services will be required for attendance and to replace the pandemic check-in. Name tags at church related activities, meetings, and classes are not required.

WHILE INDOORS

FULLY VACCINATED INDIVIDUALS:
No mask nor social distancing restrictions apply at indoor worship services and indoor ministry activities.

PARTIALLY/UNVACCINATED INDIVIDUALS:
Masks are required and must be worn at all times at indoor worship services and indoor ministry activities. A six foot distance between households must be maintained. For reference, six feet is approximately the width of two seats in any row. At this time, we ask that you refrain from all physical contact, including touching while Passing the Peace, hugging, and shaking hands.

See "Clergy & Lay Worship Leaders" section for task-specific exceptions.

For groups meeting in church indoor spaces,
room reservations and confirmation of room's availability, prior to the scheduled activity, meeting, or event is still required.

WHILE OUTDOORS

FULLY VACCINATED INDIVIDUALS:
No mask nor social distancing restrictions apply at while outdoors.

PARTIALLY/UNVACCINATED INDIVIDUALS:
No mask is required outdoors if six feet of distance between households can be maintained. At this time, we ask that you refrain from all physical contact, including hugging and shaking hands.

For ALL groups meeting in the church outdoor spaces, vaccinated or otherwise, facility
reservations and confirmation of outdoor space's availability, prior to the scheduled activity, meeting, or event, are still required.
