The Episcopal Diocese of West Texas has issued updated COVID-19 guidelines. Our St. Stephen's Task Force and Vestry have subsequently formulated the below St. Stephen's COVID-19 guidelines:
NO TEMPERATURE CHECKS
Temperature checks are no longer required for any activity, meeting, or worship service on campus, whether indoors or outdoors.
Name tags at worship services will be required for attendance and to replace the pandemic check-in. Name tags at church related activities, meetings, and classes are not required.
FULLY VACCINATED INDIVIDUALS: No mask nor social distancing restrictions apply at indoor worship services and indoor ministry activities.
PARTIALLY/UNVACCINATED INDIVIDUALS: Masks are required and must be worn at all times at indoor worship services and indoor ministry activities. A six foot distance between households must be maintained. For reference, six feet is approximately the width of two seats in any row. At this time, we ask that you refrain from all physical contact, including touching while Passing the Peace, hugging, and shaking hands.

For groups meeting in church indoor spaces, room reservations and confirmation of room's availability, prior to the scheduled activity, meeting, or event is still required.
FULLY VACCINATED INDIVIDUALS: No mask nor social distancing restrictions apply at while outdoors.
PARTIALLY/UNVACCINATED INDIVIDUALS: No mask is required outdoors if six feet of distance between households can be maintained. At this time, we ask that you refrain from all physical contact, including hugging and shaking hands.
For ALL groups meeting in the church outdoor spaces, vaccinated or otherwise, facility reservations and confirmation of outdoor space's availability, prior to the scheduled activity, meeting, or event, are still required.
In the event of exposure, fully vaccinated individuals are no longer required to quarantine.
CLERGY & LAY WORSHIP LEADERS
Clergy are not required to wear masks or gloves during Eucharist prayer, preaching, and reading.
Lay worship leaders are not required to wear masks while speaking or reading to the congregation.
Communion will be distributed at the altar rail in bread form and wine intinction.
Clergy and Lay Eucharistic Visitors may bring communion to homebound/hospitalized people adhering to both the facility's and Diocesan COVID-19 guidelines for distributing communion.
Coffee Hour will be heldin McArthur Hall after the 8:00 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. Sunday worship services. For partially/unvaccinated individuals, we kindly ask that you wear face masks and social distance.
The Church Nursery on Sundays will reopen in Fall 2021.
