Choir Banner 2021

In 2019, the St. Stephen's organ was refurbished and is now being played by the very talented Allen Hennig. Its music has been featured in TAKE 5's program, piped out into the courtyard during Morning Prayer, and will once again be enjoyed during the in-building, in-person 8:00 a.m. Sunday services once in-person services resume.

The Music Ministry of St. Stephen's Episcopal Church extends an open invitation for you to join the choir program. All ages and levels of experience are welcome! Every voice can sing! If you are interested in being a part of the children's or adult choir, please contact our Music Director, Anne Jones.

To protect the health of the community during the pandemic, choir meetings are suspended until further notice.

Online every Thursday 10:00 a.m. CT

Hosted by St. Stephen's pianist/organist, Allen Hennig, TAKE 5 treats our ears, eyes, and spirit, to a five minute music break. The music will feature the many artists in the St. Stephen's community, and it is guaranteed to soothe your soul! All TAKE 5 episodes are available on SSEC's YouTube.

St. Stephen's lively Halftime praise band provides our music at evening services and signature events such as Great Generations and Faithful Families.

Children's Choir

Children in grades 1st through 6th, including home schoolers, are invited to join the MelodyMakers, directed by Anne Jones. All experience levels and talents in children's choir are welcome. We meet once a week during the regular school year on Wednesday afternoons. During the school year, we take what we've created together musically and share it with everyone on Family Sundays as we lead the worship music.
